Give a Product or Service

There are many different products and services used by Bridging People and Places in meeting our mission of making a difference in the lives of others. Examples of these needed products and services are listed below, along with those individuals and organizations who have recently donated them. We would greatly appreciate any additional donations of these or other products and services, as such donations allow us to use our limited financial resources for more urgent needs that directly benefit those whom we serve.

Products

"Bear Dens" (white paper bags with handles) (like shopping bags) for delivery of Bear Hugs -- Since 2007, these bags are currently being donated by Tamarac Elementary School under a grant associated with our Kids Helping Kids Program. Prior to 2007, the Hudson Paper Company of Stratford, CT donated these bags.

	Raffia ribbon for tying Bear Hug tags on the bears -- Specialty Box and Packaging of Albany, NY has donated many spools of raffia.
	Tissue paper for attractively packaging Bear Hugs in the Bear Den delivery bags. A source for this tissue paper is needed.
	Paper and Card stock for production of brochures, Bear Hug tags, and other documents. A source for this paper is needed.
	Ink cartridges for an HP 6120 or 7150 Deskjet printer. A source for these cartridges is needed.
	Ink cartridge for Canon PC 950 document copier. A source for this cartridge is needed.
	Cardboard boxes for mailing Bear Hugs. A source for these boxes is needed.
	Packing tape for sealing boxes of Bear Hugs for mailing. A source for this tape is needed.

	Disposable cameras with film for parents of infants who have died. A source for these cameras is needed.
	Ceramic slip for making ceramic urns for parents of deceased infants who have chosen cremation. A source for this slip is needed.

	White Batiste material used by volunteers for making infant bereavement gowns. A source for this material is needed.
	White, light blue, and pink lace used by volunteers for making infant bereavement gowns. A source for this lace is needed.
	Yarn used by senior volunteer knitters for making teddy bear sweaters and hats. A source for this yarn is needed.

Services

	Computer services for the Bridging People and Places computer -- Hillebrandt Consulting of South Glens Falls, NY is currently providing these services.
	Bookkeeping services -- Patti Ryan, EA of Stillwater, NY is currently providing these services.
	Firing services for ceramic urns for parents of deceased infants who have chosen cremation -- Firing is currently being provided by Sandy Schwartz, clay artist, of Saratoga Springs, NY.
	Storage Unit -- Donna Hillebrandt of Gansevoort, NY provides a storage unit for Bear Hugs awaiting sweaters and/or distribution.
	Graphic Arts Consultation -- Amy Sorensen, Scotia, NY is currently providing this service.
	Printing and copy services for production of brochures, Bear Hug tags, and other documents -- A source for these services is needed.
